Get Whiter Teeth for Free

I've been wanting to get white teeth for the longest time.  Too bad, there's no Crest strips here in our side of the planet, and the cost for bleaching here is 16K, which I don't have right now.  So I went on looking for clinics that offers the cheapest possible price for a laser bleaching.  So I've always knew that there was this clinic in Manila that offers it for 5K, and if my memory serves me right, the name of the clinic is BrightSmile. I tried looking for that clinic if I was indeed correct.  As I was doing so, I saw this post saying "whiten teeth for free".  So like a second nature, I click on it immediately.  Then I read in order to whiten your teeth,  use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.  Now I have already tried this before, and the first time I did it, my gums turned white for a few minutes which really scared the crap out of me.  I couldn't barely feel my gums, and I thought that this was a huge disaster. I was in the verge of tears, actually.  Oh what a girl has to go through to be pretty(in my case, prettier... hahha)... And after remembering that incidence for a good 3 seconds, I thought, I'll try it again. This time I'll do it properly, and follow the instructions carefully.

Before you undergo this procedure, if you think you don't have sensitive teeth like me, then this is safe.  Also if you have cuts on your lips or any where in your gums, I suggest you wait for it to heal as this mixture will give you a burning effect if you proceed.

So I prepared my materials.
Baking Soda, Agua Oxigenada(Hydrogen Peroxide)

I got myself a white bowl, and mixed 2 tsp of baking soda and a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide.  Squeezed in a bit of toothpaste, and mixed it all in until you've got a paste-like consistency.

Wet your toothbrush, dip it in this mixture and brush your teeth as usual. This mixture has a bitter taste don't even attempt to swallow.  Expect to salivate while brushing.

So continue brushing for 2 minutes, after that you wash off mixture with water.

Results? Viola! Receding gumline! :)

Actually I didn't notice if it turned white or not.  For some people, it worked for them.  Don't worry about the gumline, as it will go back to normal.

PS: Sister! Send me some Crest Strips!

Burnt Biscuits

Posted By KiranKumar Roy
When I was a kid, my mom would prepare special breakfast every now and then. And I remember one night in particular, after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned.

He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!" You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else.

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other’s faults - and choosing to celebrate each other’s differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!

We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!

"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."

God Bless You..... Now, and always....

So Please pass me a biscuit, and yes, the burnt one will do just fine.!.!.!.!

Well I need to have a good and understanding guy like that.  I've kept on burning our rice at home these days. :(
(1) FINE: This is the word women use to end an argument when she knows she is right and you need to shut-up.
(2) NOTHING: means something & you need to be worried.
(3) GO AHEAD: this is a dare, not permission , do not do it.
(4) WHATEVER: A woman's way of saying screw you.
(5) THAT'S OK: She is thinking long & hard on how and when you will pay for your mistake.

This one post I saw in FB that I believe holds a lot of truth in it.  :)
Angelina Jolie
Oh oh... I'm sorry guys.  It's not as sexy as you hope it would be.  But I must say I'm impressed by her decency.  Also I must say that the shorts din't go well with the fancy lingerie she's wearing on top.  She looked a bit shy on the picture, well I would be if I'm wearing that.

This picture was taken on set for her "So undercover" movie, that she's currently filming now.  I wonder how that would turn out?

Justin Got into Trouble?!

Justin the singer slash heart throb did got into trouble once? What did he do? Oh well, nothing really big. He just sneaked out of his house with a friend, and went on bicycling until cops picked them up in the streets at 2 am and brought them home.

Well this goodie boy seems clean, apart from being frisky with the ladies.  But we couldn't blame him. He's cute, has nice voice and he's a millionaire.

Hope he stays clean though.
Guess Model Sketched
Crispy pata, for all of you who are not familiar of this, is a local delicacy which is made from boiling a pork's thigh(sorry I don't know how you call it) in a pressure cooking, and then deep fry it shortly after.  No. I don’t eat crispy pata nor I plan to do so. It’s not my life that’s change but Bo Sanchez’s(a famous pastor/entrepreneur/author).  I was inspired to write something about it because I felt that it’s worth writing for.  Truly, the title itself attracted me to it, like you did when you first read it.  I’m thinking how the hell does eating crispy pata changed his life. Did it make him so sick because of eating that every-dieters-nightmare food ever so often that he got hypertension, which lead to heart problem, which could probably lead to death? Probably, but not quite so.
The whole crispy pata thing happened when he was still young and he was dating his girlfriend in this fancy restaurant.  He ended up spending more than what he can pay for.  So he has to swallow his pride and put himself to shame by asking  money from his girlfriend.  Luckily they were able to leave the resto paid.  But one thing that did not left him: the earnest of having more money to fulfill a need.  He strived more, work hard more to be able to do what he wanted for his missions and church project.  Changing what you wanted to change in your life is a matter of figuring out the “emotional why”.  Why? because it makes me feel good? why? because I won’t have to struggle like before.  why? because I want my family to be proud of me.  Answer that and you’ll change.

Confessions of a Chocoholic.

Need I say more? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like chocolates. Me? I just love em to bits! I am an not an addict, thank God! or else I’d be close to bankrupt! I eat them occassionally, especially when I’m feeling sad.  It just gives me the extra rush that I needed to keep me back to my old jolly self.  “A bar of dark chocolate, keeps my sadness away!” Oh yeah, works all the time!
I’d stumble upon this webpage one day, and people there were raving about this chocolate spread called nutella.  So curious as I am, I went out to the grocery store and bought myself one.  For 145 bucks and all that hype in the net, this stuff should taste really good!  As soon as I got inside the car, I immediately opened the jar of nutella and dipped my finger into it (told you I was so curious… and impatient).  I got some good amount to make my verdict.  Lo and Behold!  This damn thing tastes like choki choki, which I used to buy a lot back in highschool.  A stick only costs me 2 bucks! Obviously, I got really really disappointed.  So if I know someone who would want to try nutella, I would say: “Just go for choki choki, it tastes EXACTLY the same and it’s really cheap too.”
I hate it when horoscopes talks about Moon, and Venus, and stuff. I actually don't get how these movements affect me and my life.  At times, some horoscopes were right on the dot as to my current situation, some are just totally unrelatable.  Just like this one.  Oh well, let's just wait for another horoscope tomorrow.

If my memory serves me right, I've only been confronted twice in my life.  If there were any bad things said about  me, those might have been said behind my back.  As far as I know, I don't have much enemies.  I'm a peace-loving creature, and if you know me personally you would know that I'm a person who doesn't want to start any fights and would rather go for diplomacy.  But probably once I've reached the limit, just watch out for profanity coming out from my mouth and for any flying objects coming your way :).  That's just the way I am.  So as much as possible I don't want blood to come out.  I make it a point to extend my patience.

Now back to rude people.  They are all around us, and we encounter them in our lives.  So before knowing how to deal with rude people, let's try to investigate why there are rude people.  Here are the reasons I have thought of:

1. They are angry in their personal world and they just have to vent it out to others.  Like they said, misery loves company.

2. Rude people are at times insecure, and want to feel powerful by dominating other people.  It's their ego booster.

3. They mistook rudeness for being confident, thinking that they can just say whatever they think and feel.

4. People who are rude, gets angry out of impulse and assumptions, over generalizations and the likes.  They're paranoid like that.

So now we know why there are rude people, how do we deal with them.

1. Be calm.  If they're confronting you for some issues, stay settled and don't be afraid.  They want you to be afraid so they feel they have power over you, which is not true.

2. Listen to what they're saying and try to understand what their problem is.  Correct them, if they have some wrong assumptions about you.  If they don't believe you, it's their problem, and walk out with dignity.

3. Let them know that they are being rude.  Sometimes they don't notice that because they are too overwhelmed and preoccupied with their own feelings.

4. If you realized that you are at fault, then say sorry.  If you're not at fault, then let them realized that.  And try to figure out how you can help them.

5.  Don't concentrate on emotions, but concentrate on solutions.  If you appear to be in control with your feelings, you would seem to look more mature, which is always good.

6.  At times you need to confront them because of their behavior.  Be sure to say things constructively and be as objective as possible.  You could say, when you say this, I feel bad.  And if they don't care, then you could say that they should not expect people to respect them too.

7.  If they're starting to get physical with you, try to warn them, and say that you don't want to hurt them.  But if they remained aggressive and they're already pulling your hair and what not, do your karate tricks to control her and show her who's boss! :)

We all get to be rude sometimes, it just means that we haven't really master our emotions and we have trouble expressing ourselves without feeling anger and other bad emotions.  Saying things in a positive way, takes a lot of maturity and work.  It's a skill.  Some people could say what they wanted to say through humor, and its always the best way to go.

Wiccan's Weeknight!

It's a day of the wiccans. Well we kinda look like a group of wiccans with our white outfits and the lights.  This was just a celebration of food, drinks and nice talks. Nothing could be better than enjoying all these with a number of good girls.  Honestly we don't know each other much, but we have the same liking for fun that united us, that immediately formed the bond.

Zabadani iz Zelicious

There's nothing more refreshing than finding a spot in the metro that offers you something different! See, I live the biggest city in the country, with only 5 shopping malls around and majority of this so-called city is composed of rural area.  How ironic huh?  So needless to say, there's just not much places to go around town if your bored self is looking for something to do.

Just last night, I attended a bridal shower of an acquaintance of mine.  It was supposed to be held in a place called Zabadani.  Hmmm... I've hadn't put much thought on the place.  I was just too busy looking for some dress to wear and anticipating my first ever bridal shower.  So dress --- check, gift --- check.  My friend and I tried looking for the unknown place.  The moment my friend pointed where the place was, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied.  It's different! People were squatting on a carpeted platform, pillows with rich colors and intricate patterns --- there was a mediterranean feel into it.  The place was a kind of different that I want!  The moment I went in, I bursted out and said... I LOVE IT! I was in my typical gay self again!  If you're my friend, you know what I'm talking about.  I was loving the place!  What I was loving more was the food! The food was spicy and chilli.  It took me back to Malaysia.  I ordered a pita bread and bahr kebab.  When the waiter served it, I purposefully ignored the fork and knife and immediately sprayed my hands with alcohol.  I am using my hands baby.  I was eating the think pita bread as if it was an Indian roti or poori.  I don't know if that was the right way to eat it, but I didn't care!  Needless to say, I finished everything feeling satisfied and a wide smile on my face. :)
My FIRST EVER attempt at making sushi! Itadakimasu! :P

Malaysian Food: Mouthwatering!

Take this! You bland filipino food! What an unationalistic retort.  After my 8-day vacation in Malaysia... I can't seem to get enough of their food. I thought spices would just be too much for me, but it's just right on the spot, to make me a fan of it!
First off, let me introduce you to nasi lemak.

Next one is Nonya food. It is a traditional food that is a mix of chinese and malay food.  It's spicy and chilli... love it!

and Chicken satay... its just a nice grilled chicken in a stick and a peanut chilli sauce for dip! lovely! :P

These are my top 3 most fave food there, in no particular order! :)
Go try one of these too!
Narrator: This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he'd never truly be happy until the day he met the one. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie 'The Graduate'. The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parent's marriage she'd only love two things. The first was her long dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and not feel a thing. Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he has been searching for. This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.

Partygoer: So Tom, what is it that you do?
Tom: I uh, I write greeting cards.
Summer: Tom could be a really great architect if he wanted to be.
Partygoer: That's unusual, I mean, what made you go from one to the other?
Tom: I guess I just figured, why make something disposable like a building when you can make something that last forever, like a greeting card.

Rachel Hansen: Just because she likes the same bizzaro crap you do doesn't mean she's your soul mate.

Rachel Hansen: Look, I know you think she was the one, but I don't. Now, I think you're just remembering the good stuff. Next time you look back, I, uh, I really think you should look again.

Tom: Look, we don't have to put a label on it. That's fine. I get it. But, you know, I just... I need some consistency.
Summer: I know.
Tom: I need to know that you're not gonna wake up in the morning and feel differently.
Summer: And I can't give you that. Nobody can.

Summer: You weren't wrong, Tom. You were just wrong about me.

Summer: I woke up one morning and I just knew.
Tom: Knew what?
Summer: What I was never sure of with you.

Paul: Robin is better than the girl of my dreams. She's real.

Tom: Did you ever do this, you think back on all the times you've had with someone and you just replay it in your head over and over again and you look for those first signs of trouble?

Tom: This is lies. We are liars. Think about it. Why do people buy cards? It's not because they want to say how they feel. People buy cards because they can't say they feel or are afraid to. And we provide the service that let's them off the hook. You know what? I say to hell with it. Let's level with America. Or at least let them speak for themselves. Right?

Narrator: As he listened, Tom began to realize that these stories weren't routinely told. These were stories one had to earn. He could feel the wall coming down. He wondered if anyone else had made it this far. Which is why the next six words changed everything.
Summer: I've never told anybody that before.
Tom: I guess I'm not just anybody.

Tom: What happened? Why - why didn't they work out?
Summer: What always happens. Life.

Girl at Interview: Have I seen you before?
Tom: Me? I don't think so.
Girl at Interview: Do you ever go to Angela's Plaza?
Tom: Yes... That's like my favorite spot in the city.
Girl at Interview: Yeah, except for the parking lots.
Tom: Yeah, yeah I agree.
Girl at Interview: Yeah, yeah I think I've seen you there.
Tom: Really?
Girl at Interview: Yeah...
Tom: I haven't seen you?
Girl at Interview: You must not have been looking...
Tom: ...

Rachel Hansen: Look, I know you think that she was the one, but I don't. No, I think you're just remembering the good stuff, next time you look back, I, uh, I think you should look again.

Tom: It's these cards and the movies and the pop songs, they're to blame for all lies and the heartache, everything.

Summer: There's no such thing as love, it's fantasy...

Summer: All we ever do is argue!
Tom: That is bullshit!

I so love this movie.  At the start, the narrator said that it's not a love story, and I wondered why.  Then I finally discovered that this story is not like any other love stories wherein both are in love with each other.  In this film, its about a boy who met this girl named Summer, whom he thought is the ONE for him.  Summer on the other hand thought otherwise, although both of them genuinely like each other.  The girl was totally platonic about the relationship while the guy is just head over heels in love with her.

The film ended with Summer marrying another guy, and it all was explained in the scene at the park.  They saw each other again.  And Tom asked the question that had bothered him for the longest time.  Why did she marry someone when she appeared to be not into serious relationships?  And then Summer answered him with a short but stabbing retort.

Summer: I woke up one morning and I just knew.
Tom: Knew what?
Summer: What I was never sure of with you.

Painful isn't it?  But true. This movie is about destiny, and that we meet out soulmates by chance.  At times we missed out on the signs so we move on to the next. We could be too busy hooking up with the wrong ones that we tend to overlook the right person for us.  There's still a great mystery with destiny.  Something that we need to study greatly on. For me, I don't believe much in destiny.  You could meet a lot of people in your life. It's really up to you whom you wish to entertain.  Everything's a choice. So make sure you choose wisely.

Harry Potter Review

And so it's over. And so it's done.  My only favorite movie that I favorited yet I don't fully understood has come to an end.  I'm not a huge reader, and I've heard about Harry Potter from my roomie back in college.  She told me the story, but I didn't fully absorb it because of so much details and characters. Much to blame for it are my memory and my imagination ---short fused.  I got really hooked after watching the first movie.  It was fantastic! Epic!  Really entertaining. So I watched the proceeding movies and was gradually drawn to it more and more.  And I have come to understand it more and more.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, and plans to see it, I suggest you stop reading at this point because I will say what you would rather see on the actual movie. I'm a spoiler like that. :)

So I started watching the final movie with a question if Harry will die or not.  I knew from research that he was one of the horcrux and he needed to die so Voldemort will die.  It makes lots of sense that he will.  Good God he didn't!  He took the resurrection stone right before meeting with Voldemort in the forest to die.  Once he died, he went up to "heaven" with a piece of fetus-like Voldemort and eventually he saw Prof. Dumbledor.  They did some chit chats and then Harry went back to life.  So to make things short these are the things I discovered: Severus snape was on harry's side all these times because he actually had this huge crush on his mother, Lily, whom he'd grown to love since they were still kids (puppy love never die??).  Snape was cute once in his life.  Weird.  At one point, I was actually anticipating that Snape was Harry's pop. Good thing he wasn't. :) Harry's pop was really an arrogant kid. Dumbledor really is not as good as we thought he is, since he asked snape to kill him to let Voldemort think that Snape is on his side.  He knew that harry will die. Dumbledor's brother's power is cool. He blows every evil enemy over a mile with only one strike of his wand.  The last horcux is Nagini, Voldemort's pet snake, which Longbottom killed at the end. On that instance, Longbottom who was a fat looser kid, turned into a cool hero dude. Harry killed Voldemort after that.  And Harry was the master of the elder wand, which he intentionally destroyed. Ron married Hermione, Harry married Jeannie and had this adorable kid that reminds me of Justin Bieber.  I also discovered that pointing out your hand as if you're holding a wand and shouting spells, won't help Harry at all.  I also surprisingly got a crush on Daniel after seeing him topless, a last treat for Daniel's fans I believe.  The last horah for the ladies! Wooohoo!!! These were pleasant surprises for a non reader like me.  At times it pays not to read the books.

Uhmmm... Ok? Where should I start. A scream. Yeah. AAAAAAAAAHHH. Ok now that's over. So obviously, I'm excited.  Let's just say that I've been waiting for this since last year. Well not actually waiting, but anticipating. I wasn't even aware that it's already showing until I saw shoutouts in FB about it. So today, will be the day that I'll watch IT!  Will have a review up soon! :)

WEEEEEEEEE!

What's your Personal Style?

They say fashion is a personal style.  Well I agree on that.  Thing is, what is your personal style? Are you even conscious of the clothes you wear? Or you just grab anything in the closet and go.  I must say that my personal style evolved through the years.  It actually depended on my confidence and things that happened in my life.

As far as I can remember, I used to be really chubby.  So I just wore bigger-sized clothes to fit me.  Loose top and pants was my thing before.  When I reached college, again, shirts and jeans, but this time I usually wear black and white shirts.  I never noticed it until one of my friends put that into my attention.  I always found myself surprised that I wasn't conscious about what color of shirts I usually wear.  My friend one time, told me "what's up with the white shirt?", and I was puzzled.  I didn't notice I wore white shirts so much.  And then shortly after the comment, she said "Are you wearing white because your crush is wearing white too?".  I was dumb-founded even more.  They said, if you like a person so much, you tend to reflect that person.  Well I guess that was what happened, but I was unconscious about it the whole time. That changed when he hooked up with my classmate.  And then the sister of my friend said that I kept on wearing black shirt.  Again, I was totally unaware, but then, I guess I know the reason why.

Shortly after college, I worked and started to explore on fashion, and slowly becoming comfortable with myself.  My friend really was the one responsible for pushing me out of my shell.  She's always wearing different clothes every time, and I believe what pulled her look together was her confidence.  I think I've learned not to care of what other people may think from her.  Slowly I get to reach my inner diva, and discovered what kind of style I truly like.  Whenever I check online, I would always get drawn to Vanessa Hudgens and the Olsen sisters.  I realized that I'm a hippie girl.  That realization was cemented after reading horoscopes about Saggitarians and how hippie they are in some ways.  And I said to myself, oh my god, this is my fashion style. Hippie. What's yours?

This post was inspired by a post written by Pamela Redmond of Glamour Magazine. And she had written down things that she thinks every women should know before they turn 30.   I'm 26, but I felt like 30 is really closeby, like I'll be turning 30 really really soon.  So I thought of coming up with my own list that I think I should have/know before I turn 30.

Me? Giving Diet Advice?

Ok. Let's face it.  I'm not the most athletic person you will ever meet. I don't do any sports and I don't exercise regularly.  The most exercise that I do in my usual day is cleaning the house.  Nothing fancy. Nothing really special.

Just after few days of surfing for longer hours, and completely bumming out, I just felt exhausted without really any reason to be exhausted about.  I felt like I'm getting old.  I'm 26years old but I felt like I was 30.  So I knew this should got to stop.  So I planned to go to the gym today.  I woke up early and made it to aero class and spent few minutes lifting weights, cycling, and doing some crunches.  Needless to say, I was tired, but in a good way.  As I was lining up to drink some water, one lady approached me and started having a conversation with me.  Next thing I know, I was giving advice on how to be slimmer.  And while I was thinking of things to say to her, a huge part of me was shouting YOU HYPOCRITE!  I was actually giggling while giving her my advice. I was not even doing the things I'm telling her.  But I told her that too.  I just eat anything.  But come to think of it, I was eating protein more than before.  I don't get to eat much rice and I cut back on my coffee.  Problem is I don't eat much vegetables too.   But at times I make sure I eat some.  After the awkward and funny talk, I went to weigh myself.  And my God have I lost 5lbs.  Doing what?! Was it because I'm eating dinner before 7pm? or was it the coffee fasting?  Either way my assumption of me being fatter was debunk.  I was really stunned.  Then again, weight is not a measurement of your health.  Today, I realized that I was unconsciously trying to be healthy, and now that I'm consciously aware about it, I feel GOOD!

The Wonder Brush

I've heard a lot of youtube gurus in the likes of Michelle Phan, and Andrea's Choice, talking about this small brush being part of their favorite products of a certain month.  They said that it works really well on removing dirt and on exfoliating your face.  So I said, I'll try that, thinking that my face needs a lot of exfoliating.  Good thing the Saizen store in Abreeza was selling this and so I bought it immediately since it's fairly cheap- only P85.

I use this with my clean and clear facial wash.  What I do is I brush my face in circular motion and make sure all parts of my face was well brushed including my lips.  Yes my lips.  So after about 2 minutes of brushing, I wash my face and then I just feel the results.  My face gets squeaky clean.  It feels like my face is breathing again.  You try it.  I think it's one product that's really cheap and very effective.  This one's definitely a keeper!

Bieber Fever Over?!

Not long ago, did this 17year old took the world by storm.  With his side-swept do, charming looks, and great talent, he easily became the first artist who had 7 debut songs on Top billboard 100, had a biography book, a movie, and what not.  Seems like this kid is on top of his game, well perhaps not for long.

Yahoo news published this article saying "Justin Bieber's Vanity Cover bombed at Newsstands", making Vanity Fair's worst selling magazine over the past 12 years.  Now question is, where are the belieber's?  Has the magic gone already after that 2 year hype?  Well, probably.  Look what happened to Jonas brothers? There were also worshipped by the same fans base who worshipped Justin.  Like what other people say, everything has an ending, but let's see if Justin could restore his image after this shocking news.

Products I Personally Use

Here are the face products I am currently using.  :)

I haven't been using most of these products before, except for the clean and clear cleanser.  So I was pretty anxious of the results especially for the eye cream.  It cost me P699 to purchase that itty bitty product.  It should give me results and it did.  My eyes aren't as deep and dark as before, and I think it helped me look less haggard, so I'm actually happy I purchased that one.  That eye cream from Olay is the first eye cream I purchased so I could not make any comparison with other eye creams in the market.

The Ponds spotless white was ok for me. It gave my skin the moisture that it needs, however it left my face oily and greasy in the afternoon.  I have an oily skin so it's just natural for me to grease out but putting the moisturizer on made me more oily.  I think oil-free moisturizer would suit me better.  Did it give me the pinkish white glow it promised? Yes immediately after applying it, but you'll be surprised how fast I turn from pinkish white, to oily slob.  Still I couldn't complain, I couldn't really demand much from a P45 vial.

Neutrogena Toner. I have had a lot of toners before.  I tried the expensive and cheap ones, and it's amazing how I find cheap ones to work better.  I basically use toner to minimize my pores since I do have a lot of visible pores on my face that I want to get rid off or at least minimized.  The Loreal toner that cost me P345 didn't deliver. I tried it for a month and my pores are still very visible, and I didn't feel it taking much dirt from my face.  That's almost the same results I got with using Neutrogena Alcohol-free toner.  It seems like it's mostly water in it.  So that was just a waste of my P180.  That did not seem much, but in the world of toners, P180 bucks is a tad expensive. Bummer!

Now the clean and Clear Facial wash, is the only product I've used during my highschool and college days.  And it really works for me.  Every after wash, I could feel that my face is squeaky clean.  A bottle of 45ml would last me 2months and it's fairly cheap too, just P45.

I have yet to find the perfect beauty products that would really suit me well.  Have you found the right products for you?

The Feathery Truth

I've seen this style in American idol's judge Steve Tyler.  He still got this signature long rockstar hair of his, but one thing I noticed: this long nice feather, and I think... hmmmm what a nice statement. I've sure seen that thing before. Like they said, fashion is a cycle, trends come back over and over at some point in time.
And look mah?
Not only does feather is used as hair accessories but also as earrings. What could my feathery friends have to say about this?
Well I think one or two feathers would look fantastic so long as you know how to carry them well and you know what kind of outfits you figured would pair greatly with these feathery bling blings. Too much of it would just make you look like someone who has been mogged by a group of birds.  Yes, I'm talking about you Steve Tyler.
Now out with the don't, in with the do.  Talking about do, here are nice feathery accessories that will up your do.  Putting a feather on the side of your hair, adds on a vintage touch.
It would also look nice as a necklace, adding vintage and hippie flare.
Nice huh?
Feathers are always interesting accessories to have, so don't chicken out, and take that move to be bold.
Enjoy!
