I'm sorry Oprah.  I love you but that's just what I discovered.  As a fan, I am shocked. I may not be her number one fan but I respect her and I salute her for living a purposeful life and being a blessing to others.  I had a lot of things that I learned from her.  Like I said, as a fan, I went out on youtube to check on previous episodes of Oprah, that I missed.  And I was glad that youtube gave me what I wanted and more.  It's in the knowledge of everybody, well at least most of her fans know that she no longer has a talk show and she's now busy launching her OWN, that is Oprah Winfrey Network.  While working at it, she could be seen by everybody on her youtube channel.  The catch here is, the vids in the channels are vids of her off stage.  So that's Oprah minus the make up and formal clothes.

The other side of Oprah

                                                           Oprah as we know her

You could see her working out or just cooking in her own kitchen.  It's just interesting to see her in her day-to-day routine.  And I feel bad that she only has few views on her channels.  I think only thousands and not millions considering that she is the Oprah Winfrey and that she has millions and millions of fans out there.  I guess probably huge chunk of her fans aren't youtube-goers, or they don't know that there exist an Oprah channel at youtube.  I don't blame the viewers since there's not much really going on in her vids.  But still I think she deserves more. Just saying.

Bieber Fever Over?!

Not long ago, did this 17year old took the world by storm.  With his side-swept do, charming looks, and great talent, he easily became the first artist who had 7 debut songs on Top billboard 100, had a biography book, a movie, and what not.  Seems like this kid is on top of his game, well perhaps not for long.

Yahoo news published this article saying "Justin Bieber's Vanity Cover bombed at Newsstands", making Vanity Fair's worst selling magazine over the past 12 years.  Now question is, where are the belieber's?  Has the magic gone already after that 2 year hype?  Well, probably.  Look what happened to Jonas brothers? There were also worshipped by the same fans base who worshipped Justin.  Like what other people say, everything has an ending, but let's see if Justin could restore his image after this shocking news.
Now for those people who've seen this picture for the first time, you might think that it's a spoof.  Well, it's not.  It happened in real life during a riot in Vancouver Games 7.  Alex Thomas, was knocked down to the ground by a police, and boyfriend, Scott Jones rushed in to her rescue, and both did the unthinkable: they kissed as police were marching down the road.  Their first interview after the event, they told everyone that "it was the best thing to do".

Ok. So I understand that it was a crazy move considering the tension that was there: police marching with guns/batons on hand, angry people screaming, perhaps throwing some stones and what not.  But has anyone seen an action flick that has the star of the film and his chick kissing while explosions and bullets flying all over the place? Well I did, a lot of times.  But I just couldn't believe that it could actually happen in real life.  I think it was a cool move though.  She probably saw him as her night in shining armor, and thought that he was such a stud that he came to her rescue.  Well he is a stud to start of with, but on that instance I think he was just oozing with studness, that giving him a kiss was a no-brainer.  That's something I would personally do if given a chance.  I definitely think that it was one of the highlights in their relationship.

Venus Williams, the great tennis athlete had surprisingly ventured to a career on fashion.  Yes, we may have seen her strutting some nice outfits here and there and she was able to pull it off really well.  I think having that strong and athletic body helped her on that, but it could only take her so far.

When she went out at the court at the opening day of Wimbledon, she was wearing this white toga jumper outfit, that reminds me of the white curtains we used to have at home.  Needless to say it was a big flop.  The extra clothing hanging at the sides looked really silly, the zip front detailing seemed a bit tacky.  All in all it doesn't look like a sports wear to me, which I think what she was going for.  If I'm correct, I think she was thinking of a clothing line that's really different and classy unlike what we already know.  She thought that it's a get-up suitable for "now".

The concept is nice, but execution? Questionable.  I must give her consolation though for picking a good shade.  White does suit her, for the rest, well you know the verdict.
